Reyaansh Vir Chadha the talented actor who was last seen in Prem Bandhan is upset over his Instagram account getting hacked. Reyaansh who lost his social media account four days back, to an unruly act of hacking is hard-pressed and worried as the hacker is now asking for money in return for the account.
Says Reyaansh, “This is an international hacking which has been done. It is not only my profile that has been hacked. On that particular day, nearly 1870 verified accounts were hacked. The worst part is that the hacker demands money in return for the account.”
Ask him if he is lodging a cyber complaint Reyaansh tells us, “I have as of now put in an official complaint with Instagram. There is a procedure that happens when an account on Instagram gets hacked. I am not aware if I will be able to retrieve my account or not. But they are looking into it.”
A few days back, Reyaansh had another problem with regards to a video that he had put up on his handle. There was an apparent copyright issue related to it. Reyaansh got a form a few days back which had to be filled up.
“I felt that this form was related to the copyright issue that had happened, and I entered a few personal details into the form. As soon as I entered my personal credentials and I logged out, the hacker hacked my account,” he says.
“It is very unfortunate that such kind of hacking happens. I want to create awareness for one and all. Please be careful while entering your personal details,” he explains.
This is not the first time that official social media accounts of actors and celebrities have been hacked!!
Guess more awareness and safety protocols are the need of the hour to safeguard the social media handles!!
