As per the latest reports on BBC News, Lionel Blair, whose stage and screen career spanned about eight decades, passed away early on Thursday morning.
He gained fame as a team captain on the game show Give Us A Clue. In recent years, he acted in Ricky Gervais’s Extras and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Born in Canada in 1928, he relocated to the UK as a child and started performing in air raid shelters during World War Two.
