Talented actor Rudra Kaushish who plays the pivotal role of Mohinder Singh Gill, elder brother and huge support for Sikandar Singh Gill in Star Plus show Kulfi Kumar Bajewala is back on the set after a break of more than a month.
Rudra’s character has been applauded for his emotional connect with Sikandar and their mother played by Vidya Sinha.
Unfortunately the actor had taken ill with a combination of malaria and typhoid affecting him.
The actor took his time to recover and is elated to be back with his family of Kulfi Kumar Bajewala produced by Gul Khan and Nilanjana Purkayasstha.
Says Rudra, “My health was really bad. I was in hospital for more than 12 – 13 days post which I had a long recovery phase. Since I had the setback of typhoid and malaria, I had to take adequate rest and be back in the pink of health.”
Rudra conveys his gratitude to the makers of the show for having been patient and supporting him during his ill health.
“The Producers have been immensely kind to have waited for me. I was super excited to be back on the set yesterday. I received a warm welcome from one and all,” he adds.
Tell him that Sikandar needs his Mohinder Paaji the most now as he is going through the sorrow of losing Kulfi (Aakriti Sharma) and with Amyra (Myra Singh) battling to survive, he states, “I have not followed the show in the last few weeks as I was in real bad state. I will settle down now and understand the requirements on my character in the next few days.”
