Star Plus’ Indian version of the popular American non-fiction show ‘Lip Sing Battle’ has been featuring lot of celebrities in their new singing avatars. This singing non fiction show is produced by Endemol Shine.
The internationally acclaimed show has found a niche audience in its desi version too, with the enthralling Farah Khan and Ali Asgar handling the mantle as show runners and hosts.
News that has come to us at IndianWikiMedia.com is that our very own popular actress Sakshi Tanwar will soon be battling it out on the show.
As per sources, “The invite to Sakshi Tanwar has gone personally from Ali Asgar as he wanted his dear ‘Parvati Bhabhi’ from their show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, to be part of Lip Sing Battle (Ali was Sakshi’s devar in the acclaimed show). While Ali’s favourite happened to be Sakshi, Farah too got a chance to give out her favorite’s name.”
And if sources are to be believed, handsome hunk and popular actor Shabbir Ahluwalia is the actor named by Farah.
We hear that though the presence of Sakshi and Shabbir on the show is not yet confirmed on paper, they have verbally committed to being seen on the show!!
We buzzed Ali Asgar but did not get any revert till we filed the story.
