Zee TV show Rajaa Betaa fans are in for major shock.
According to sources, lead character of the Sobo Films show Purva will be bumped off very soon.
Sambhabana Mohanty’s death sequence has been shot and will be telecast very soon. And with this, Sambhabana will move out of the show.
Says our source, “The change and new development in the story line has been the need of the story line. The story needed a huge transition and this has brought about the exit of Sambhabana.”
Rajaa Betaa which started in January 2019 with decent ratings dropped very badly in matter of few weeks. The slump apparently is attributed to changes in free and paid ratings system, also due to Dish TV going off in many markets.
Interestingly Rajaa Betaa is among very few shows where both the leads have been replaced i.e. Rrahul Sudhir who first played the title role of Beta Vedant had quit due to his mother’s ill health. Dishank Arora had stepped in taking his place in Jaipur where the show is being shot. And now Sambhabana will move out.
It would be interesting to see how the story is taken forward post Purva’s death. Hoping that this shock value will finally see ratings go north.
The unit was given a break of few days for Ganpati post which the cast and crew will resume shoot in Jaipur later this week.
Debutant Odiya actor Sambhabana just confirmed her exit saying,” My shoot for the show is over. I will soon release a statement on the same.”
