Savdhaan India, the crime-alert show which was initiated in the year 2012 on Life OK, and went on to enjoy good popularity amongst masses for its awareness creating attributes will soon be back on Star Bharat. It focusses on real-life crime incidents in India and the story of struggle of the victims in order to get justice for their sufferings.
The show which continued to air on Star Bharat post the channel revamp, went off air few months back. The idea was always to get back with a revamped strategy.
News coming to the desk of IWMBuzz.com is that Savdhaan India is slated to launch again in mid-July this year.
Also, another interesting development is that the channel has given the onus of churning out episodes to only one production house this time around.
A credible source tells us, “Rowdy Rascals, helmed by Anirban Bhattacharya and Amar Deb have bagged the deal of being the sole Producers on Savdhaan India this time around.”
We all know that Rowdy Rascals was one of the pioneering production houses to be involved in the making of Savdhaan India from the time of inception years back.
We buzzed Producer Amar Deb but he remained unavailable.
We contacted Gaurav Banerjee, from Star India and even dropped a text to the channel spokesperson, but did not get any response till we filed the story.
