Hindi TV shows have seen a lot of love stories getting into a melodrama stage wherein an unforeseen misunderstanding forces the lead pair to separate after being bound by the institution of marriage. With the separation happening, the lead boy and the lead girl go their own way. However, the lead girl is beckoned with a situation wherein she gets to know that she is pregnant, but is faced with the sorrow of not even being able to tell her ex-husband about it. Years later, this same child acts as a catalyst in bringing the estranged father and mother together.
Does this pattern of storytelling ring a bell in your ears? Have you seen it coming more than often? Very true, this is a story plot that gets commonly used when any show needs to take a separation phase followed by a leap in time.

Venky, Preesha’s brother was killed in a tragic way, post which Preesha was blamed for the murder. However, when in jail, Preesha got to know that she was pregnant. Destiny saved her in an unfortunate accident when she was being transported to jail. While Rudraksh felt that Preesha died in the accident, Preesha escaped and changed her identity and got to a newer destination to raise her kid. Preesha was seen living with her daughter Roohi.
