Shalini Arora and Suneel Pushkarna in Zee TV’s Ishq Pakeezah

Zee TV is gearing up to launch its upcoming show title Ishq Pakeezah helmed by Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye.

The show is slated to be based on the rather talked about topic of ‘triple talaaq’.

There was a toss-up between Jigyasa Singh and Eisha Singh pertaining to the role of the female lead, which finally went into the latter’s kitty.

As reported by us, Samiksha Bhatnagar, Vinay Jain and Gunn Kansara are also a part of the project.

Now, we have learnt that veteran actors Shalini Arora (Swabhimaan) and Suneel Pushkarna (Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi) have also joined the casting bandwagon.

Shalini and Suneel will be seen as the female lead’s parents.

The above mentioned entrants remained out of reach to make any comment on the development.

Ishq Pakeezah is slated to beam in the first quarter of 2018.
