As we know, Nikhil Sinha’s Triangle Films has already launched its version of Chandrakantha on Life OK in the month of February with beautiful damsel Kritika Kamra playing the titular role.
But now, Ekta is surely marching ahead with her troupe to give television her own grand version of Chandrakantha, which will be aired on Colors.
As per reports in media, Ekta’s one-of-the-favorite actresses Madhurima Tuli has bagged the title role of Chandrakantha. We now know that Begusaraai fame Vishal Aaditya Singh has been roped in for the role of Kunwar Virendra Vikram Singh. Also, Fahad Ali will play Sumer Singh.
We now hear of two extremely popular actors and Balaji loyalists joining the ensemble cast of Ekta’s Chandrakantha!!
Talented performer Urvashi Dholakia popularly known as Komolika of Balaji’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay will be part of the show. Urvashi has been part of TV shows Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Saheli, Comedy Circus, Kahiin Toh Hoga, Bade Dooor Se Aaye Hai.
Also joining the show will be the beautiful Shilpa Sakhlani Agnihotri!! The actor known as Ganga Virani of Ekta’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will also be seen playing a pivotal role. Shilpa who is married to actor Apurva Agnihotri was last seen on TV in Dosti… Yaariyan… Manmarziyaan.
As per a source, “Urvashi will play the mother of Vikram Singh, while Shilpa will be the mother of Chandrakantha.”
