Actress Shweta Gautam who was last seen in Dangal’s Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi will return to the TV screens with Zee TV’s latest offering Hamari Wali Good News produced by Sukesh Motwani and Mautik Tolia’s banner Bodhi Tree.
As we know, the show will be a new-age thought of the mother-in-law being the savior for her daughter-in-law who is unable to conceive. The mother-in-law will decide to be the surrogate for her daughter-in-law and get her grandchild into the world.
The show will have Juhi Parmar, Shakti Anand, Srishti Jain, Raghav Tiwari playing the leads.
News coming to us is that versatile actress Shweta Gautam will be part of the show.
As per a reliable source, “Shweta will play the mother of Srishti Jain. She will be a self-made independent woman. She would have single-handedly brought up her daughter.”
When contacted, Shweta Gautam confirmed the news to us at IWMBuzz.com saying, “Yes, I am part of the cast of Hamari Wali Good News. In this COVID-hit situation, it is a very tough decision for an actor to pick up the right kind of work. This concept to me looked promising. Also, I know Persis from a long time and wanted to work with her. We have a very good star cast. I bond really well with my onscreen daughter and son-in-law off the screen too.”
