Talented actor Shweta Gautam has bagged a meaty Diwali gift with a role in Balaji Telefilms’ weekend thriller show Qayamat Ki Raat on Star Plus.
Yes, you heard it right!!
Soon the story line in the show will see the emergence of a mystery woman who will be seen in a black saree, hovering around the Sooryavanshi family’s abode.
During Diwali, the woman will also be seen sneaking into the haveli, trying to look for something, and even trying to get the attention of Raaj (Vivek Dahiya).
Shweta who was last seen in a brooding yet confident mother role in Colors’ Bepannaah is thrilled to be working with Ekta Kapoor after many years.
Says Shweta, “I bagged this role in Qayamat Ki Raat during the Diwali time. I felt happy to have got the show; it is the best Diwali gift that I could have desired for. It feels great to be working with Ekta Kapoor. This show is a fabulous thriller and keeps viewers excited with its fast-paced narrative. I look forward to my role opening up.”
Shweta who is married to actor Afzaal Khan enjoyed the festivity of Diwali and is back to being the actor!! She has started shoot for the show and her entry will be aired soon.
