Television actor Nitin Chauhaan, known for winning the reality show Dadagiri 2, passed away in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 35. News of his death was confirmed by his Tera Yaar Hoon Main co-stars, Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, though they noted that they had no further information regarding the circumstances, according to reports. Nitin’s father has reportedly traveled to Mumbai to arrange for his son’s remains.
Sudeep Sahir paid tribute to Nitin on social media, sharing a brief note on his Instagram story that read, “Rest in peace, buddy.” Actress Vibhuti Thakur also expressed her sorrow, posting a picture with Nitin on her Instagram stories. In her message, she wrote, “Rest in peace, my dear. I’m really shocked and sad. I wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. I wish you were mentally strong like your body.”
Nitin Chauhaan, originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, gained recognition after winning Dadagiri 2. He went on to participate in reality shows like MTV Splitsvilla 5 and took on various roles in television series. His acting credits include appearances in Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends. He was last seen in the TV series Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022.
