Bengali actress Sreeja Dutta has put rumors to rest regarding her potential pairing with Adrit Roy in Zee Bangla’s upcoming mega serial. In an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times Bangla, Sreeja revealed that she is not ready to commit to the small screen due to her ongoing engineering studies.

Adrit Roy, known for his role in Mithai, is set to return to television with Zee Bangla’s new mega-production. Speculation surrounding his heroine had pointed to Sreeja, but the actress has denied these claims.

“I don’t know who is spreading this news, but I’m not working on any mega serial,” Sreeja clarified. “I’m focusing on my studies right now. If I do serials, my studies will suffer.”

As a third-year engineering student, Sreeja prioritizes her education. “I have electronics with computer science, which is challenging to study. I can’t shoot for 15-20 days straight,” she explained.

Although Sreeja expressed admiration for Adrit Roy and interest in working with him, she emphasized that her current focus is on completing her degree. “I want to work with Adritda, but the problem is the serial’s time commitment. I have to attend college daily,” she said.

Sreeja’s mother, a doctor, has instilled in her the importance of education. After completing her studies, Sreeja plans to revisit her acting career.

The actress has already demonstrated her ability to balance academics and acting, having completed shooting and dubbing for Tekka during her semester.

For now, Sreeja Dutta’s small-screen debut will have to wait. Her dedication to education inspires her fans and highlights the importance of prioritizing goals and commitments.
