Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaaz will take a generation leap in the New Year!!
Yes, this is big news for the loyal fans of the extremely successful show produced by 4 Lions Films.
Earlier in the day, we reported about lead actress Surbhi Chandna not keen on portraying a mother on-screen which has apparently put a halt to the baby track that was planned.
Now, we hear of the makers planning a generation next story in Ishqbaaaz which will get into the zone of the new generation in the Oberoi family. However, as reported earlier, they will not explore the pregnancy track as planned earlier.
Well, news coming in is that popular actor Vikram Singh Chauhan is in all probability to bag the lead role in the new story line to come!!
As per sources, “The generation next has been given a green signal by the channel which will mean that new actors will be roped in to the show very soon. The jump in time will mostly happen in the last week of December or early January 2019.”
Vikram Singh Chauhan is a heartthrob and has been part of Star Plus’ Jaana Na Dil Se Door earlier. He was recently seen in Ek Deewaana Tha.
We buzzed Vikran but did not get response from him.
When contacted, Producer Gul Khan confirmed a part of our news and did not address anything on the new cast coming in saying, “Yes, IB is taking a leap in December.”
We buzzed Gaurav Banerjee, President and Head – Hindi GEC but did not get revert till we filed our story.
