Star Plus’ Mere Angne Main to end; Chakravyuh to take the slot

Star Plus show, Mere Angne Main is on its way out!!

Sphereorigins’ path-breaker of a show, Mere Angne Main which created history for being the first Indian TV show to be aired seven days a week for one hour, is on its way out now!!

After having a great run of more than two years, the show will now bid adieu on 5 August.

Even now, the show has a good and encouraging TRP and time spent, but as they say, good things need to come to an end!!

To talk more about the show, its characters Ammaji, Kaushalya, Raghav and Sarla (till it lasted) have all been iconic characters. With a mixed bag of senior actors and youngsters, the show saw really good performances coming from its cast. Also the realistically filmed story line kept the audience interested all the time.

The show had Karam Rajpal and Ekta Kaul as leads, with Ekta being replaced by Richa Mukherjee later on.

Now, Mere Angne Main will be replaced by Rolling Pictures and Taurus Media’s Chakravyuh.

As per a source, “Chakravyuh will take the time slot left vacant by Mere Angne Main from 7 August.”

We buzzed Producer Sphereorigins, Sunjoy Waddhwa for a comment but could not get through to him.

We also reached out to Producer Sanjot Kaur (Chakravyuh), but did not get revert.

Chakravyuh will be an intriguing family drama with a huge ensemble cast in Narayani Shastri, Sangeeta Ghosh, Lubna Salim, Ajay Chaudhary, Mahima Makwana.
