Actor Sukesh Anand who is known for his comic portrayals in TV shows will be part of Swastik Productions’ upcoming show, Chandragupta Maurya on Sony TV.
Sukesh who has done shows like Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, Meri Durga etc will play the role of a rich but stingy shopkeeper in the Sony TV show.
As per sources, “Sukesh’s character will have a comic shade and will provide for interesting tracks.”
As we know, Swastik Productions’ Porus will now make way for Chandragupta Maurya. With Porus being dead, Chanakya will take an oath to find that one ruler who could form Indian into Akhand Bharat.
When contacted, Sukesh confirmed the news but did not want to get into details.
The role of Chanakya is being played by Tarun Khanna while Karthikey Malviya will play Chandragupta.
