Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaaz (4 Lions Films) has been enjoying a great run with the interesting tale around the Oberoi brothers keeping viewers glued to the show.
With the show completing nearly 850 episodes, the logical progression in the story is to get into the parenthood phase of Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna). And that’s what is being planned!!
Loyal viewers of the show have already seen the track getting kick-started with Anika announcing her pregnancy to the family.
But now, there lies a problem is what we have heard!!
Lead actress Surbhi Chandna is apparently a bit reluctant in becoming a mother on screen!!
We hear that the channel and makers have been talking to Surbhi, trying to convince her as they have thought of a very good track ahead related to Anika’s pregnancy and beyond.
As per a reliable source, “Considering that Surbhi is young in age and has a long way ahead in her career, she is reluctant to become a mother onscreen. Though there is nothing finalized as of now, changes will be made in the pregnancy track that has already been worked out, in case Surbhi declines being a mother.”
We buzzed Surbhi but did not get response from her.
We reached out to Producer Gul Khan, but did not get revert.
Our attempts to reach out to Gaurav Banerjee, President and Head – Hindi GEC but did not get a reply to our query.
