IWMBuzz.com was the first to report about the &TV show, Agnifera produced by R &R Creations taking a leap of about 20 years. We had written about actors Yukti Kapoor, Simraan Kaur and Amita Choksi being the only actors to be retained in the post leap phase of the story line.
News coming in is that seasoned actress Surbhi Tiwari who was last seen in Ek Saajhedhaari Ka will play a vital role, and will be part of the revamped cast.
Yes, you heard it right!!
As per a reliable source, “Surbhi will be seen playing the role of the lead boy’s mother.”
We buzzed Surbhi, but could not get through for a comment.
As for Surbhi, she has been a prolific performer with challenging roles in TV shows Diya Aur Baati Hum, Shagun, Kumkum, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli etc.
We also reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not hear from them.
As informed earlier, the post leap phase of Agnifera will see Yukti and Simraan playing new characters. Male leads Ankit Gera, Ayyaz Ahmed and Mohak Khurana will not be part of the show.
