The ratings of Week 42 of the year 2024 have been released today, 24 October of television shows across GECs. While Star Plus continues to dominate supremacy with as many as six shows being at the top, Colors shows seem to be giving a tough fight with a spirited move to increase ratings. So how does the Week 42 ratings look like? Anupamaa the Star Plus show finally sees a small rise in ratings after it took the generation leap. Anupamaa had been stuck at a TVR of 2.3 over the last few weeks. But now, it has risen to a TVR of 2.4 and holds supremacy with the No. 1 spot. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (Star Plus) sees a rise in TVR after a few weeks and takes the 2nd spot with a TVR of 2.2. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is tied with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (Star Plus) at the 2nd spot with 2.2 TVR. Udne Ki Aasha and Advocate Anjali Awashti (Star Plus) take the joint 3rd spot with 2.1 TVR. Star Parivaar Awards takes a TVR of 2.1. Jhanak (Star Plus) drops big and goes below the 2.0 TVR mark after many weeks. It secures a TVR of 1.9 and takes the 4th spot.
Sony SAB’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Colors’ Mangal Lakshmi share the 5th spot with 1.7 TVR. Both shows have been consistent in their ratings, and are trying to surge up the ladder. Parineeti, Mera Balam Thanedaar and Durga (Colors) secure 1.5 TVR. Durga sees a rise again after last week’s dip. Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav and Megha Barsenge (Colors) secure TVR of 1.4.
Mishri (Colors), Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya (Zee TV), Bigg Boss (Colors), Maati Se Bandhi Dor (Star Plus) secure a TVR of 1.2. Suman Indori (Colors), Jagriti and Vasudha (Zee TV) see a rise and secure 1.1, 1.0 and 1.0 TVR respectively.
