TV star Shweta Tiwari (known for her iconic role of Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Kay season 1) has confirmed testing positive for Covid 19.
There were speculations in media of she contracting the disease, however, she went on to confirm the development.
The actor shared that she developed a cough on September 16, and decided to test herself the next day. Once the reports came positive, she decided to quarantine herself.
She is currently a part of the Sony TV show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. It is to be noted that her co star Rajeshwari Sachdev also tested positive of Covid 19 recently. Rajeshwari’s husband Varun Badola as part of a precautionary measure took a break from shoot and has luckily tested negative.
