& TV’s Half Marriage (Kavita Barjatya Productions) will soon wrap up!!
Yes, the story which brought together two very different individuals Arjun (Tarun Mahilani) and Chandni (Priyanka Purohit) had a good and realistic story line. However, the beautifully woven story did not translate in good ratings.
Hence the channel has decided to end the show. The last episode will go on air on 27 April.
A credible source tells us, “The shoot of Half Marriage wrapped up yesterday (16 April). The cast seemed a bit disappointed as the new twists brought in looked appealing. However, the lack of ratings spelled an end to the interesting story.”
The show will have a happy ending. Chandni will be back in the pink of her health post Maya (Vindhya Tiwari) pushing her off from a height. In the end, Maya will be exposed by Chandni and Arjun’s mother. Maya will go to jail. The show will end with Arjun and Chandni having a baby.
We buzzed the Producer Kavita Barjatya and the channel spokesperson, but did not get revert.
Half Marriage had the right mix of fresh actors and experienced ones, with Tarun Mahilani and Priyanka Purohit playing the leads, and Satyajit Sharma, Muni Jha, Resham Tipnis, Kanupriya Pandit, Karhan Dev in the cast.
