Udaan to get the 7 PM slot; Internet Wala Love to be shifted to 6.30 PM

Colors’ programming strategy changes for the better, and this is yet another development that the channel has made to accommodate new shows.

Colors’ popular show Udaan produced by Guroudev Bhalla has had a successful run and has won the hearts of viewers.

Recently, the news of Udaan going off air did come as a surprise to viewers. The show was to go off air on 27 September, making way for Writers’ Galaxy’s historical Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali at the 8.30 PM slot.

But the engaging story line of Udaan just kept flowing, with the viewers lapping up the interesting tale even after the news of the show going off air made rounds.

The result of this has been the rise in Udaan’s ratings with it touching a rating as huge as 1.9.

Recently, IWMBuzz.com wrote about Udaan having a probability of getting a new lease of life. And now we have confirmed news of Udaan getting shifted to the slot of 7 PM from 1 October.

As per a reliable source, “Udaan will now take the time slot of 7 PM, that which is presently occupied by the newly launched show, Internet Wala Love. As a result of this, Internet Wala Love is likely to be moved to the slot of 6.30 PM.”

We hear that there are high chances of Savitri Devi College and Hospital bidding adieu (show placed presently at 6.30 PM). There is also a probability of the medical drama getting shifted to the slot of Tu Aashiqui, that is 6 PM. We will keep you updated on the further developments here. As we know, Tu Aashiqui will go off air on 12 October (again a news exclusively reported by us).

We buzzed Producers Sunjoy Wadhwa (Sphereorigins) and Guroudev Bhalla (Udaan), but received no response.

We also reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get revert till we filed the story.

Are you all happy with the news of Udaan’s continued run? Do keep in mind the changes in slots for the show Internet Wala Love and Udaan.
