What’s more interesting is to know more about the contestants and their backstories before making it big. In the recent clip of Unseen Undekha on VOOT, Devoleena welcomes Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav in her self-curated show ‘Morning Chai’. An overwhelmed Khesari says “Hi public log, Pranam Namastey.”
The host Devoleena starts her show and questions “Accha sabse pehle toh ye bataiye, aapka naam correct kijiye. Khesariya or Kesariya?” Khesari corrects Devoleena and tells everyone the meaning of his name and how it is pronounced, “Khesari matlab dal hota hai, pet kharab hota hi jisse.” Devoleena delightedly reacts “Kya baat hai, toh matlab aap yahan sabke pet kharab karne aaye hain”, and further questions “Career ki shurvaat kaise ki?”
Khesari goes on to narrate his journey from Chapra in Bihar to Bigg Boss house. “Main pehle Bhains charata tha. Mere ghar pe bahut saari bhains rehti hai. Badi gareebi thi. Mein Ramayana aur Mahabharat gaata tha. Fir waha bhi 500-700 ke mere show hote the. Usse zyada paise milte nahi the.” Devoleena here asks “Kaha pe hai ye”. Khesari goes on to narrate that he is from Chapra, Bihar and further reveals “Uske baad fir main Delhi aaya. Ab koi kaam hi nahi tha toh kya karega aadmi. Fir Leti Chokha bechta tha main. Toh kam se kam 2 saal maine leti chokha becha.”
Devoleena further quips “Toh aap khud banate the?” Khesari further continues “Papa aur main banate the aur 10 rs mein 4 leti bechte the. Toh woh dukaan tha mera, usi mein rehte the aur usi main bechte the aur usi mein sab kuch tha. Dheere dheere usi se 10-20 bacha ke cassette gaaye, flop bhi hua. Bahut struggle kiye, 3- 3 din bhookhe bhi reh jaate the.” Responding to Khesari’s life changing story, Devoleena expresses “Toh aap utne waha se matlab aaj yaha pe pahunche toh matlab ye journey bahut lambi thi.”
Not just this, Khesari also goes on to make a big revelation here and says “Bahut saare Bhojpuri stars ke ghar pe naukar bhi raha hun.” Devoleena applauds his journey from being a Leti Chokha seller to a start in Bhojpuri industry and comments “Aur aaj aap khud itne bade star hain.”
