Uzair Bashar to play ‘young’ Salim in Colors’ Mughal-E-Azam

Talented child artist Uzair bags yet another meaty role on TV.

Anirudh Pathak’s upcoming magnum-opus historical, Mughal-E-Azam has been in the headlines for quite sometime now.

The series on the love story of Salim and Anarkali will air on Colors.

The makers of shows Prithvi Vallabh and Chandrakshekar have been working on the locations as of now, and the show will go on floor very soon!!

As we know, actors Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria will play the central roles of Salim and Anarkali.

IWMBuzz.com has already reported exclusively about actors Shahbaz Khan, Parvati Sehgal and Nivedita Bhattacharya playing pivotal roles.

We now hear of talented child artiste Uzair Bashar joining the cast of the show in a pivotal role.

As per a reliable source, “Uzair will be playing the younger Salim in the series. He will be joined by cute and cheerful face, Naisha Khanna as the small Anarkali.”

Uzair as we know, has been seen in Vighnaharta Ganesh, Suryaputra Karn, Siya Ke Ram etc.

As per media reports, the show will also see the likes of Gurdeep Punjj, Aruna Irani in crucial roles.

We buzzed Uzair’s father, but could not reach out to him.
