Veteran actor S. M. Zaheer will be back to the TV screens with Star Plus’ upcoming show, Maryam produced by Somersault Productions.
Maryam which will be the tale of a 6 years old girl has a good ensemble cast that includes Avinash Mishra, Paras Kalnawat, Sheena Bajaj, Priyanka Kandwal, Khalid Siddiqui, Rukhsar Rehman, Lubna Salim etc.
We now hear of the seasoned campaigner Zaheer being part of the show. The actor who has had a phenomenal career both in movies and on TV will play the patriarch in the Maryam household.
A reliable source tells us, “S.M. Zaheer will be the father of Khalid Siddiqui’s character, and grandfather of Maryam.”
The actor was last seen on TV in Rajan Shahi’s Tere Sheher Main.
We buzzed Zaheer, but could not get through to him.
