Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey the popular Sony SAB show produced by J D Majethia and Aatish Kapadia’s Hats Off Productions is entertaining audiences of all ages with its engaging drama wrapped in the comic setup.
The show will see a special appearance and a very interesting track related to ‘body shaming’ coming up.
For this, the makers have roped in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Simran Khanna. Simran who plays the role of Gayu in the above-mentioned Star Plus show will play a very beautiful looking girl with a dark past, which will be related to Rajesh Wagle (Sumeet Raghavan).
The track will not only open up the topic of body shaming, but will also deal with it in a very interesting and educative manner.
Talking about it, Producer JD Majethia told us, “This is a very interesting track for which we have roped in Simran Khanna of Yeh Rishta fame. When I saw her shooting for Yeh Rishta at Sylvassa, I was immediately convinced that she will be apt for this role. She will play the character of Monica who would have been subjected to body shaming earlier, and how our main character Rajesh makes amends for his past mistake will be an engaging watch.”
