Yogesh Tripathi, apparently, has gotten too demanding post success of the show

Yogesh Tripathi acting pricey on the sets Happu Ki Ultan Paltan?

Success is a very heady feeling and many times it does get to one’s head. Something similar had happened a while back with &TV show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan lead actor, Yogesh Tripathi.

He moved from playing a popular bribe-eating supporting cop character in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain to lead in its above spin-off on the same channel. Normally lead actors are very young boys and girls in their early twenties. And here we have someone in his thirties getting a signature show, which seldom happens.

According to sources, this sudden change in fortunes naturally brought a spring in Yogesh’s step, which was fine to start with. But soon he started throwing tantrums, i.e. demanding stuff.

For a while, the production house (Edit 2) took all this in its stride, saying let him enjoy his moment in the sun. But eventually, things reached a head and he had to be spoken sternly to by the concerned people.

Our source added that this is a common problem with all new leads and nothing new. Hope they could realize that while it is good to enjoy the fruits of success, why trouble others.

“Yogesh is a very good actor who has risen by dint of his hard work (was first noticed in FIR). So we have nothing against him and hope he rises even further, which will even help Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,” ended the source.

However, when we touched base with Yogesh, he denied any such news, saying, “All is well. I am the same as I was when I first started off with FIR. I think you mixed me with someone else.” Our source stands by his claim.

We tried to reach producer Binaifer Kohli but could not get through to her till the time of filing of this article.
