Zee TV’s re-branding has brought in new colors and flavours to its programming line-up!! The recent Maha Episode ‘Aaj Likhenge Kal’ with a brigade of popular stars headed by Prachi Shah and Ankita Sharma was heartening to watch.
Now the channel has come up with the unique idea of coupling reality with fiction as it nears the much-awaited Grand Finale of the popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs.
The singing reality show has got its 6 finalists in Dhroon Tickoo, ShanmukhaPriya, Shreyan Bhattacharya, Sonakshi Ka, Vaishnav Girish and Anjali Gaekwad. The Grand Finale will be shot in the Pink City, Jaipur… The Finale will be held on 29 October.
Now as a build-up to the Grand Finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, the channel has weaved in an interesting story line. The Mahasangam will have the finalists sharing screen space with certain popular characters and actors of Zee TV in a fictional setup.
As per sources, “Every Zee actor / celebrity will be coupled with a finalist each and a story will be churned out on them. Each story will be inter-related and will begin from the native place of the finalist.”
We hear that popular Zee characters, Neelima aka Parul Chaudhary of Piyaa Albela, Kanta Chachi aka Kiran Sharma of Zindagi Ki Mehak, Purab aka Vin Rana of Kumkum Bhagya, Nisha aka Mansi Salvi of Woh Apnaa Sa, Tejaswini aka Jyoti Sharma of Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi Kahi along with actors Ravi Dubey (Jamai Raja fame) and Parag Tyagi (Brahmarakshas fame) have been roped in for the Mahasangam.”
The shoot for the various chunks of stories is presently on and will be aired in the coming week, just before the Grand Finale.
When contacted, actors Parul Chaudhary, Vin Rana and Mansi Salvi confirmed their involvement in this Mahasangam episode.
We buzzed the channel spokesperson, but did not receive further details.
This Mahasangam we hear, is being produced by Esselvision.
