Dimpled heartthrob Vishal Karwal, who rose to fame playing Lord Krishna in two shows Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn and Naagarjun: Ek Yoddha, says although he played lord onscreen but he is not a religious person in real life.
“I am not a religious person in real life. But I feel our audience should have knowledge about our origin and roots so I believe such kind of shows should be made because the new generation should be aware about our lords and their stories,” shares Vishal.
The thespian will be seen as Lord Vishnu in the upcoming show Paramavatar Shri Krishna on &TV.
Talking about the difference between his role of Lord Krishna and Vishnu, he avers, “As an actor I feel both the characters are very different. Krishna was in human form and Vishu was lord. I have played Krishna twice in my career. I believe you are been given some kind of freedom when you are Krishna as you are in human form so you can react like a human being. You can express and emote like them. While portraying Vishu you are a lord and you know everything so you can’t express those emotions.”
He finally quips, “I believe it is a blessing for any actor to portray such characters on screen. I feel I am blessed and if I am offered such roles again and again I will take them all.”
Best wishes to the handsome hunk for his new journey.
