Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, the two popular and extremely successful Director’s Kut shows will start shoot soon as per the directive of the Government.
However, with the Maharashtra Government laying guidelines on the way forward of kids who are under 10 years of age, and elders above 65 years not allowed to shoot, we wondered how the go-forward will be for these two popular shows.
In order to get an insight on the shoot resumption and much more, we at IWMBuzz.com talked exclusively with Producer Rajan Shahi who said, “I am not giving out any date of shoot resumption. I am waiting for a go-ahead to come from the broadcaster and the Producers’ body on the date of resumption. I cannot comment on the date of shoot resumption of my shows as an individual Producer.”
When asked about the possibility of kids and senior characters of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke shooting, the Producer states, “We will follow the guidelines issued by the Government which states that kids under 10 years and elders above 65 years cannot shoot. So yes, initially when we resume we will have to shoot keeping in mind these guidelines. Kids under 10 and senior actors will not be shooting initially. Having said this, we are hopeful and optimistic of coming up with a good storyline post the break. We are also hopeful of bringing back our characters as and when the directive of the Government allows us to make changes.”
With this, we wonder how will the story pan out in the absence of kids Kairav and Vansh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Nanu in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke?
