Ekta Kapoor is a television producer who has created several films and tv shows. Her production label is known as Balaji Telefilms Limited, which was established in the year 1994. Since her serials were a hit on television, Ekta Kapoor then stepped into the film production with the movie Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta in 2001, and cast the star actor Govinda.
She further produced films such as Kucch To Hai, Krishna Cottage, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum. With her successful career as a producer of tv serial, Ekta Kapoor went on to create more Tv serials and movies, like Shoot out at Wadala, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Mission Istanbul etc. and usually worked with her brother Tusshar Kapoor by casting him in her movies. There are 130 tv serials in total which Ekta Kapoor has produced and continues to entertain people and her audience which mainly includes house-makers, housewives and women.
Ekta Kapoor has also ventured into producing regional tv shows in various Indian languages. Ekta Kapoor made her debut in production with the serials Hum Paanch, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Naagin series, Kumkum Bhagya, and the list is never-ending.
Ekta Kapoor is an Indian television producer who has produced several movies and tv shows which still are running on television and has accumulated wealth and fame. Her house portrays the royal vibe with the choice of her interiors, which reflect class and richness. Some of the rooms are decorated with colourful furniture and accessories, whereas a few rooms display simplicity and classy energy, serving the best of both worlds.
