Sohail Abbas bags Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Best Executive Producer

Recently Sohail Abbas has been making headlines for all the right reasons. He has been honoured with one of the most prestigious and highest awards in Indian Cinema, the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Best Executive Producer 2020. This award is the country’s highest film honour conferred for “Outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema”. Popular film producer & owner of Moving Pictures, Sohail Abbas hails from Bijnor UP. Abbas began his journey at a very young age. His first stint was as a Production Manager for a 2008 film titled Mumbai Cutting. He was also associated with films like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Mickey Virus. He displayed his skills on the small screen too including famous television shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum and Punar Vivaah among others.
