Madhubala: Colors show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon was launched to celebrate 100 years ofIndian cinema and Drashti played the title role of Madhubala who was born on a film set. She playsa happy-go-lucky girl whose life turns upside down after meeting RK, a leading superstar played byVivian Dsena. Drashti and Vivian were much appreciated as an onscreen couple.
Gayatri: Drashti played the pivotal role of Gayatri in a period drama set in the pre-independenceera. Gayatri’s father whos a rich zamindar gets her married to Rana Indravadan Singh, the king ofAmerkot who is still in love with his dead wife. The story progresses with Rani Gayatri making aplace in Ranaji&s heart and kingdom. Its a love story that blooms between a commoner and royaltyamidst the conspiracies in the royal palace.
