Sidharth Shukla has managed to become one of the most popular Bigg Boss contestants this season.
The telly actor who was last seen on the show Dil Se Dil Tak was missing from the limelight for a long time but with the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, he has become one of the most talked-about celebrities in the nation. With his constant fights with housemates on the show, especially his rift with Rashami Desai has hooked the viewers.
Sidharth’s journey in the telly world has been long. He started off his career way back in the year 2008. His journey hasn’t been an easy one. If you are a Sidharth Shukla fan or just like seeing him on the show, you would love to know about his interesting journey.
Sidharth Shukla was born on 10th December 1980 in Mumbai. His parents Ashok Shukla and Rita Shukla hail from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He lost his father in his childhood. He is the youngest among the siblings, has 2 elder sisters.
Sidharth is a pass out from St. Xavier’s High School. While in school, Sidharth represented tennis and football team. He has a degree in Interior Design from the Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design.
Mr. Shukla also participated in Gladrags Manhunt 2004 and then went on to win the Best Model Of The World in Turkey in the year 2005. This was the first time an Asian model won this title. He won the title, beating 40 other contestants from Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
He stepped into the telly world with the show Babul Ja Aangann Chootey Na. Post that he did a show called Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi. Sidharth got a lot of offers to post these shows. He did shows like Balika Vadhu, Love U Zindagi.
In 2014, it was reported that Sidharth has signed a three-film deal with Dharma Productions. He was seen as Angad in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He portrayed in the film as the ideal man for marriage who possess a good job and a great nature. He played the role brilliantly and even received awards for his performance. He was awarded the Stardust Awards for Breakthrough Supporting Performance (Male) for the film. But he was not seen in Bollywood anymore.
Sidharth has also had his run-ins with the law. On the New Year’s Eve of 2014, Sidharth was booked for drunk driving and his license was also apparently seized. He was fined 2000 INR by Mumbai Traffic Police. He was arrested once again in July 2018 after his BMW lost control, hit three cars
before ramming into the divider in Oshiwara. One person was even injured. He was let out on bail after paying a fine of INR 5000.
There were also reports that he was seeing Dhrasti Dhami around the same time. The two met on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Ja and connected really well. They were seen engaging in Twitter banters and host Manish Paul even joked about them.
Recently, Sidharth Shukla is seen in Color’s Bigg Boss 13 and is winning the heart of everyone with his performance and we think he will lift the trophy soon…
