Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata is the show which first concentrated on the big Marwari family in Udaipur which starred Hina Khan as Akshara and Karan Mehra as Naitik in the lead. But after the leads exited the show, Naira Goenka aka Shivangi Joshi became the lead actress who is the daughter of Naitik and Akshara and now is married to Kartik Goenka aka Mohsin Khan and now faces the family situation.

When the maker of the show, Rajan Shahi was thinking of the title of the show and came up with it at 4 am and co-incidentally, at 8 am he got the call from the channel suggesting the same name, wow strange and beautiful coincidence!
When the show started in the year 2009, there were only two shows which impacted the audience. Yes, you guessed the right. They were Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and they were ruling the minds and TRP charts.
Mohsin Khan who plays the role of Kartik Goenka may look cool and romantic but he was so shy when he was small that he never talked to girls of his school and college. And now, he is making girls go mad over his frenzy looks.
Also, Shivangi Joshi who got a chance to dance many times on the show doesn’t take many lessons as she is a trained Kathak dancer and can dance very well.
