Talented artist Gracy Goswami, who is currently seen as Princess Garima in the Star Bharat show Mayavi Maling, is living her dream role.
“I always wanted to do a fantasy show and wished to play a princess. After playing a bahu in Balika Vadhu, it was challenging to adapt the behavior of a princess. In my earlier show, I used to speak in Marwadi and here I had to learn Hindi and Sanskrit. But I enjoy this learning process”
Apart from these challenges, Gracy have to put in physical strength too. “I am still learning martial arts. I am the warrior princess amongst the three princesses so I have to do a lot of action scenes. Initially, there were difficulties as the sword was heavy to handle. I have had fear of water and that’s one fear that I have overcome here. But now, I have learnt everything. I am happy that our show is being loved by viewers.”
So how does she balance shoot and studies, she says: “I am in 10th so I bring my bag and books on-set and whenever I get time, I study here. My teachers also come on-set to teach if necessary.”
Lastly, she requests her fans to watch her show and give immense love to it.
