Gul Khan adds another feather to her portfolio cap to explore a new avenue for all those aspiring actors who wish to be seen and noticed for their talent. Gul Khan introduces ‘Gen K Studio’, a casting and talent management company where every aspirants work will be noticed by Gul directly.
“The idea behind Gen K Studio comes from my personal experience. When I had started off, it was difficult to get in touch with people in-charge of real work. The idea of having Gen K Studio is primarily for talents who do want to explore their acting side but do not know the ways and means for it. This will also help aspirants outside Mumbai who can now sit at home and give auditions. Gen K Studio will give a direct access to all those actors who wish to explore their acting skills”, she says.
“What makes this company more special is the introduction given by my good friends and actors Surbhi Jyoti, Nakuul Mehta, Barun Sobti and Vikram Singh Chauhan. Each one of them have shot different portions and variations spreading their knowledge in easy words. These include simplest of things like positioning of the mobile camera angle, having perfect light, ambience, set up etc. They explained how an audition can be shot from one’s phone, how to upload the audition link and send it to me on Gen K Studio’s website. Gul Khan announced the starting of Gen K Studio by going live from her Instagram account. She stated that her company will shortlist talents, sign them and pitch them for work across entertainment mediums. Gul is hopeful that with Gen K Studio, she will be able to extract a pool of talents who somewhere are waiting for an opportunity
