19 weeks back, &TV’s one of a kind dance reality show High Fever…Dance ka Naya Tevar opened its doors for the first time to a bunch of unique jodis from across the nation. With exceptional talent and hearts filled with passion, these unusual jodis across different age groups came to live their one and only dream, dance. Their impressive usage of props, flawless dance styles and ability to tell their heart-warming stories through dance often left viewers speechless.
A journey of dance, emotions and passion that started with 11 extraordinary contestant jodis, will now culminate with the final four best dancing jodis making their way to the grand finale. Saturday will see a special episode called Akhiri Tewar where the top 6 jodis will compete for a spot in the grand finale. Known for their outstanding classical fusion performances, the famous Guru and Shishya jodi of the show, Ashish and Rutuja, will be seen vying for a place in the finale. Competing against them will be the sensuous and stunning Latin performers of the show, Tara and Nisha. The electrifying siblings, Tron brothers (Chandar & Manoj Kumar) along with Akash and Suraj will be seen setting the grand finale stage on fire by living it up one last time. Adding an element of cuteness and comedy to this entire finale act will be the two adorable kids Likhit and Tejas along with their ‘jodidaars’ Faisan and Anshul.
Supporting and nurturing them through this remarkable journey were the three esteemed judges of the show, ace choreographer and director, Ahmed Khan, former Miss India International 2007, Esha Gupta and the young dancing superstar, Salman Yusuff Khan. All the three judges will set the temperatures soaring with their glamorous solo performances on chartbuster numbers making it a befitting finale.
Talking about his journey of judging High Fever since its inception, Ahmed Khan said, “As a judge, I have had a fabulous journey through High Fever, wherein I got an opportunity to witness much more than just dance. From shaking a leg with these jodis to sharing some heartfelt moments with my co-judges, it’s hard to believe how 19 weeks have flown by so quickly. We will take back countless memories as every single episode has taught us something about relationships and dance. I have seen these contestants grow with each passing week, constantly developing their performance. I believe each one of them have all the capabilities within them to make it big in this industry.”
Sharing her experience of her first stint as a judge on &TV, Esha Gupta said, “This show marked my debut on television and I surely couldn’t have asked for a more amazing start with &TV and the High Fever…Dance ka Naya Tevar stage! This show particularly focused on the relationship between the pairs and dance as a shared passion in that relation, so this will always stay close to my heart. While I have witnessed several dance performances before, judging one is truly a unique experience in itself. In a matter of a few weeks, I have developed a close bond with these jodis who have taught me new things about dance. No matter who takes the trophy home, for me all of these finalists are true rockstars.”
Adding further to Esha’s thoughts, High Fever judge Salman Yusuff Khan said, “It’s been a short, but extremely special journey for me on High Fever. The bonds I have built with the judges and contestants alike in this short while is testimony of what a great team this is. I have been a part of many reality shows as a contestant and a judge, but the kind of talent I have witnessed here is truly remarkable. It’s a delight to see their passion and rigour to win in their eyes and in their performance. Each one of these jodis who have made it to the finale are winners in their own sense. Inshallah! May the best jodi win.”
Setting the tone for the Grand Finale, will be the Love Me India judges Guru Randhawa, Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Bhasin. Adding fervour to the grand finale celebrations on Sunday, will be comedian Siddharth Sagar performing gags with host Nitesh. Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande along with Ruel will come in specially to cheer the contestants they support.
