Yeh Hai Mohabbatein the popular Star Plus show produced by Balaji Telefilms had a good run from 2013 to 2019. The show saw the brilliant chemistry of actors Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi. The show was loved for many reasons and it showed in the ratings chart. The show could stand major competition from many other competitive shows and concepts and had a fruitful run.

Today we look at the five amazing aspects that we liked about Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Firstly, the wonderful backdrop which saw the amalgamation and coming together of two different cultures in the Punjabi Bhalla family and the Tamil speaking Iyer family brought a huge variety in content. The culture difference, the wide range of customs and beliefs that both the cultures followed was given a lot of prominence. The different dressing style, the mannerisms, the dialect of the South Indians in speaking Hindi was given a lot of impetus. All of it looked so real and good on screen.

Secondly, the power that the Jodi of Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi brought into the show was amazing and unparalleled in popularity. As Ishita Iyer, Divyanka was known for her simplicity and precision in the role. As Raman Bhalla, Karan had the charm, the power and the weightage to carry off the role well.

The concept of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and how crisply the love story of Ishita and Raman was developed and how the two of them bonded for the little girl Ruhi was a beauty to watch. Also, the father-daughter and mother-daughter bond were very vividly picturized in the show. The beautiful love story of Raman and Ishita has to be another highlighting factor on its own. They came together on unusual grounds and supported each other through all the thick and thin. Their love saw happiness, separation, misunderstandings, but sailed through always as love prevailed.

The fourth main factor has to be the generation leap and the manner in which it was taken. The impact of the leap was very much strong and the actors who came in Reyaansh Vir Chadha, Abhishek Malik, Abhishek Verma, Krishna Mukherjee and Aditi Bhatia did a wonderful job. The story thereafter was very crisply woven between Raman-Ishita and the new generation. There were good tracks for everyone and this was a defining factor for success.

Last but not the least, even when the makers and channel decided to end Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the show was doing well. Hence the makers decided to bring on a sequel to it in the form of Yeh Hai Chahatein, based on the South Indian and North Indian families backdrop. Yeh Hai Chahatein is also doing well now and stars Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra.
