Star Plus, home to the country’s biggest hit shows in the TV universe is forever striving to entertain its audiences for years now and has victoriously withstood the test of time. It’s given us masterpieces like Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Imlie, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2*, so on and so forth and is now gearing up to present the family entertainer ‘Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey’. Most of these stories were penned by the renowned Indian writer, producer, and director Leena Gangopadhyay who is primarily associated with the Tollywood Entertainment industry. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the West Bengal Commission for Women as well.

While the story was often called the real hero, the writer was always an anonymous entity in the world of Bengali television serials. Then Leena Gangopadhyay entered the scene. Today, she has several serials on air while the Hindi remakes of some of her work are riding the TRPs. Leena Di, as the industry refers to her, is an exceptional scriptwriter who gets the importance of keeping it real even while entertaining and that is exactly what the audience, as well as the industry, absolutely adores about Leena Gangopadhyay. In the TV world, the audience is God and her writing is just what the audience wants to see. She thinks that television is a very strong medium and it should be used to show the audience what is happening in society which makes her content all the more relatable.

The industry is all praises for the lovely storyteller, given her expertise in the field after being a part of the industry for the longest time. Her colleagues are honored to have worked with her and would continue to do so.

The new show ‘Kabhi Kahbie Ittefaq Sey’ (which is the Hindi remake of her show Khorkuto) penned by her is all set to launch as well and given the history of her stories, this one is also a sure-shot blockbuster. We can keep going on and on about the writer and it won’t be enough so to end it with, we truly hope and pray for Leena Gangopadhyay to keep creating magic through her pen and entertaining us through and through.
