Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain team has recently shot in Goa for a special episode and will be seen enjoying themselves at the beach destination! The makers have come up with an interesting plot that will see the two couples – Anita and Vibhiti; Angoori and Tiwari, walk down the aisle to say, ‘I do’ to each other. When in Goa, how can one not show a church wedding for the audience to revel in. Turns out that the actors also had a whole lot of fun shooting for this.
As per the plot, both the couples land in Goa to get married once again. Since they are in Goa, they decide on a church wedding where the ladies look resplendent in white gowns and the men look dapper in a tuxedo.
Says Shubhangi Atre, who essays the character of Angoori Bhabhi on the show, “I can’t tell you how excited I was for the church wedding sequence. Its just amazing how the makers keep coming up with interesting plots because as artists they don’t let us feel monotonous. I loved wearing the white gown and holding the flowers in my hand and walking down the aisle.”
Rohitash Gaud who plays the character of Manmohan Tiwari said, “We were all waiting for an interesting outdoor shoot to happen and Goa schedule came at the right time. Shooting away from the sets gave us all a much-needed break and we enjoyed every bit of our time in Goa. The church wedding was much fun for the ladies and they have actually worked on their looks with a great deal of precision. The result is for everyone to see.”
Aasif Sheikh who plays the part of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra further added, “The upcoming Bhabhi Ji track has been special to us in many ways. The church wedding sequence was shot in a quaint church of Goa and it added to the on-going celebratory mood amongst us. I told the team that I wanted to be dressed like the Bond and they didn’t disappoint me (laughs). Its an exciting track and I am sure the audience will like it.”
Saumya Tandon who plays the role of Anita Bhabhi said, “It was the first time I walked the aisle in the church as a Christian bride. Though I have adorned the white gown many times before but being a bride with the veil in the church is another feeling. I really hunted hard to choose the gown, I wanted something summery and something which fits me great. I personally don’t like white gowns which puff too much from waist and don’t give shape to the body so I looked for something which dint take away my waist shape. Its an off-shoulder gown with a long trail and a beautiful scallop veil which I thought was just perfect. I kept my hair all pulled back clean in a French bun and put really soft makeup with red lips. I bought a lovely tiara from Goa itself from a German designer shop and that added a bit of sparkle. I wore Simple butterfly diamond pendant with earrings and kept it as clean and pretty as the look deserves. I thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as a bride and walking the aisle in that beautiful church in Goa, definitely one of my favourite looks”.
Well, the couples certainly are all set to walk down the aisle, but do they get to say, ‘I do’ to each other, remains to be seen.
