The story revolves around the journey of a young singing prodigy Kulfi, who encounters all kinds of hardships to unite with her father, Sikandar Singh Gill. The show generally received positive reviews upon release. Critics particularly praised the show’s main actors, story, concept, and music.
Kulfi Kumar Bajewala has won five Indian Television Academy Awards including Best Show, Best Actor, Best Child Actor, Best Lyrics and Dialogues. Child actress Aakriti also received the Best Child Actor award at the Gold Awards 2018.
This exceptional show is mainly based on a daughters quest to find her find. Since this show revolves around a father and a daughter, generally there are a lot of cute father-daughter scenes which we can’t miss.
The best scene according to us, is when Sikandar gets to know that Kulfi is his daughter, the way he reacts and he tries really hard to get her back, that scene surely made us emotional.
Even earlier when Sikander did not know that Kulfi was his daughter he took care of her so well, it was all too adorable for us to watch. The way he was always worried about Kulfi and the way he took care of her grabbed her hearts.
Through the show, even though Kulfi and Sikander did not know they are father-daughter, you could always see a connection between them, a connection that is not very easily visible.
Aakriti and Mohit are comfortable with each other even off-screen which is what makes this show even all the better.
