Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular shows on the small screen that has been running over for quite a long time. Actress Disha Vakani, who became a household name after her portrayal of Daya Jethalal Gada in the popular daily sitcom, is being missed by her beloved fans.
The star took a break from the show owing to her pregnancy in 2018. However, she did make a cameo appearance in October 2019, but her full-fledged return on the show is what the audiences have been eagerly waiting for.
While the makers never announced a replacement, they did not answer if the actress will reprise her role in one of the longest shows on TV. Recently, in an interview, producer Asit Modi mentioned that he understands that the audience got tired of waiting for Daya bhabhi and they want to see her back but he revealed because of the pandemic it was not possible and requested fans to support him for the next 2-3 months.
