Disha Vakani, who became a household name after her portrayal of Daya Jethalal Gada in the popular daily sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is being missed by her beloved fans.
Disha quit the show in 2018 post her delivery. However, she did make a cameo appearance in October 2019, but her full-fledged return on the show is what the audiences have been eagerly waiting for.
Recently, there were reports that the makers were trying to get the actress on-board the show but things got delayed due to the COVID-19 situation.
As per earlier reports in the media, it was being said that Disha might not be returning to the show until a vaccine for COVID is introduced given she has a toddler at home and wouldn’t want to risk her child, family members or her own health at the moment.
