Recently, she took to Instagram and posted a picture of Palak Khichdi. She is taking care of her health during lockdown too. However, do you know how to make Palak Khichdi? We will tell you here.
Recipe for making Palak Khichdi:-
Soak rice in water for 15 minutes and wash the dal 2 to 3 times in water. To make Palak Khichdi, start by heating oil in a pressure cooker. Once hot, add mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, and freshly prepared ginger garlic paste. Sauté the mixture well before adding finely chopped tomatoes and onions. Add green chilies based on your preference and allow it to cook.
Next, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and chili powder, and continue sautéing. Add salt to taste, the dal and rice, and a glass of water. Cook for 2 minutes before adding fresh chopped spinach. Lock the pressure cooker and let it cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Once done, remove the Palak Khichdi from the pressure cooker after two whistles. Finally, add a dollop of warm ghee on top before serving.
