Actor Vikram Wadhwa who has donned the robe of a police inspector on many occasions for films and TV shows will yet again play a police officer in Dangal’s episodic story Crime Alert.
Vikram has been part of the film Family of Thakurganj which starred Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill. He played a police inspector in the film along with Pawan Malhotra.
Also, he was part of the film SP Chauhan, starring Jimmy Shergill and Yuvika Chaudhary. In this film too, Vikram played the role of a cop.
He has featured in a commercial with Amitabh Bachchan where he played the role of a cop. Also, he donned a cop’s role for Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega.
Vikram loves to don the cop’s avatar and feels proud when he does so. “I am happy with the cop roles that have come to me. I will also like to challenge myself with more roles.”
Acting actually happened accidentally for Vikram.
Says Vikram, “I was in fact busy going around with my son, Shabd Wadhwa for the shoot of commercial ads. During one such shoot, a person recognized me and gave me the commercial. This started my journey in acting.”
Vikram now wants to touch base playing challenging roles. A builder by profession, Vikram would love it if he gets more recognition in the industry.
