Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the most famous sitcom on television, has been in the news for a few weeks. Controversies have always surrounded the programme. Be it recently when Shailesh Lodha chose to leave the programme or when Disha Vakani decided not to return. Taarak Mehta has also been in the news for a number of notorious incidents. The creators recently had a gathering at which the media was also invited.
Shailesh Lodha hasn’t officially announced his departure from the sitcom, but he has already debuted his poetry-based new programme Waah Bhai Waah.
Disha Vakani and Shailesh Lodha would undoubtedly be questioned as the media was invited to the event. When asked about his recent departure from the programme, Jethalal actor Dilip Joshi made a suggestion that he will return. He told the media, “Like I said, change is inevitable. Thodi difficulty toh hoti hai when they leave the show, of course as a rhythm is set with your co-stars, but never say never Shailesh Bhai Aa bhi sakte hain wapas.”
Regarding his departure from the show, Shailesh Lodha has been silent on the radio. When asked about it again recently, the actor who plays Taarak on the show just ignored the question and remained silent.
At the gathering, Dilip Joshi was overheard remarking about Dayaben, a.k.a. Disha Vakani, “Daya was supposed to return. She once again embarrassed us (laughs). What Asit bhai wants is unknown to me. Just let’s hope Jetha would be able to witness acche din as well. Disha and I collaborated for almost ten years. Our chemistry and tune were ideal from the start. And the two of us had a great time. We worked on several fantastic scenes together. They appear in earlier episodes.”
We wonder if the producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will make an effort to bring Shailesh Lodha back or find a replacement. Let’s observe and wait.
