JijiMaa’s ‘sisters’ join the elite group

Joining the sisterhood bandwagon, will be the JijiMaa's on-screen sisters...

A map with life decisions, a book of encouragement, a push for self-confidence and a guard in distress, a sister is the best gift your parents can give you. Having a sister is like being blessed with a second mother. She is the one person you can turn to for advice, guidance or just a shoulder to cry upon.Sisters give you the emotional support that you need and it’s a magical bond that stays with you forever. A bond between two sisters can be a reflection of all relations in one, be it that of a brother, best friend, a father or a MOTHER. Even in the starry world of Bollywood, we have duos of sisters who set the best example of SISTERHOOD.

Talking about this, Shamita Shetty was inspired by her elder sister Shilpa Shetty Kundra and always looked upon her for guidance, learnt from her mistakes and managed to create her own identity.

Speaking of the talented Chopra Sisters, Parineeti Chopra attributes her cousin Priyanka Chopra for encouraging her to pursue her Bollywood dream. Both of them share an ‘emotional bond’ and complement each other in the industry.

Throwing some light on the wrestling journey of the ‘Dangal’ sisters, ever since Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat were introduced to the grueling sport of wrestling, rules were meant to be followed stringently.  There are six Phogat sisters who broke the barriers of gender across the country: Geeta, Babita, Ritu, Vinesh, Priyanka and Sangita, A friend for life or crab grass in the lawn of life, these sisters have stood together and made unique sacrifices all their life to make their father’s dream come true. Coming together for training and exercise, they underwent rigorous physical training and never gave up on each other.  Their value of sisterhood is remarkable.

Another example is of Sisters Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora who are known for creating a buzz for the paparazzi and setting major goals when it comes to the sense of style and fashion. Malaika raisedher sister Amrita like a mother and always protected her like her own child. The glamorous sister duo set the best example of the statement ‘Your sister is your best friend’. Good times or hard times, rejoicing it together is the mantra for Arora sisters.

Another instance would be that of the Khan Sisters who were never scared to display their life on National Television. With a number of hardships and ugly life realities, Gauhar Khan and Nigar Khan have always stood by each other through thick and thin.

Last but not the least, Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor share a bond of invisible ties, strong and solid. They both are ideals when it comes to sisterly attachment. Karishmahas been a guide, a philosopher and a friend to Kareena, right from her childhood to now being a parent with amazing parenting skills.

While we talk about the stories of Bollywood sisters, Star Bharat (Life OK- rebranded) is all set to introduce a never-seen-before bond between sisters, JijiMaa.
