TV serial IWMBuzz’s Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) are undoubtedly one of the most loved jodis on TV. Their love story is an ideal example of opposites attract. Their cute nok-jokhs and stolen glances never fail to melt our hearts. They fight, argue and just as easily make up. From the very beginning, we couldn’t help but root for them to get through.
Abhi and Pragya’s relationship has seen a lot of drama, twists and turns which has always kept the audience engaged and on their toes. Their story started on a bitter note in addition to evil schemes of Tanu and Alia to keep them separate did not help either. But amidst the truths and lies, the couple managed to fall in love and remained strong only through their sheer love for each other.
You could not have two more people different than Abhi and Pragya. They are poles apart in every aspect of life. Abhi is an affluent rockstar with an attitude to boot whereas Pragya is simple girl who comes from a middle-class family. A series of misunderstandings lead to the two of them getting married under forced circumstances. Although they hated each other and their marriage was rocky at the started, the two eventually get close and realize their true feelings for each other.
But fate had some other plans for them, as Pragya meets with an accident and dies. A leap in a show and Pragya comes to life and extracts revenge. Finally, the moment we all waited for arrives with the two confessing their love for each other. However, we are once again left disappointed when Abhi loses his memory and forgets Pragya in an accident. And she walks out of his life to protect him.
Need not worry though because they are Abhi & Pragya and they are meant to be. So after 7 long years and a reunion later, they fall in love and get married again. With a Kiara already in their life, they are once again blessed with twins this time. But before they could get their happily ever after, Kiara is kidnapped and killed for revenge which ends up in a separation for the two love birds.
