Dance+ is back with its 5th season and we cannot keep calm to know the Top 16 contestants who will be fighting for the coveted trophy. This week we will witness the dancing master Mithun Da on the sets of the show.
We have already seen some incredible dancers during the audition phase and this week we will get our Top 16.
One such contestant is Monark Trivedi from Junagadh, Ahmedabad. He started dancing since the age of 11, but due to Monark’s short height (midget) he faced a lot of criticism in life.
Speaking about his journey, he said, “Dance+ is like a dream come true for me because initially I did not receive support from my father due to my short height. Once I started dancing, I started to gain self-confidence and decided to make my career in this field. I feel I am my own competition.”
Impressed with his performance and after listening to his journey, guest judge Mithun Da said, “I faced rejections too, due to my skin color but I wanted the world to see my dance not my complexion. You are the tallest amongst us all today, Monark. We are small in front of you, keep up the same spirit and keep it high.”
